It's exactly one week since mission trip is over. I don't usually blog, but I feel a strong urge to pen down my precious experience at Nakhon Phanom. To etch down these memories, so that I can look back at this milestone and remind myself, before I get too immerse into the daily grind and forget all about it.
Video by the super talented Davian Teo! To summarized the trip
Praise God for all the Salvation, healing miracles, restoration of hearts and souls that took place within the trip.
It took us months of preparation, and most of us have to meet up a few times weekly to prepare our roles - be it a life-skill, worship, games, creative or whatnot. But I am so glad that so many of us avail our time to invest in this, it's not just a 5 days trip, it turned out to be so much more.
It's started off with my dear friend, Zheng kai who went Nakhon Phanom for mission trip 8 years ago and he had this vision to bring our own CG to go back there for a mission trip. Dover CG is really a blessed CG with a dynamic pool of talents. And when he first shared about his vision, it sparked something in our hearts.
First we got to rally our own people in the CG to sign up for the mission trip, there were so much myth and questioning shrouding the Mission trip. Was it going to be physically labouring? Was the living condition going to be horrible? Do we need to live in the slums? Would it be a complete waste of leave? Was there going to be language barrier and the list went on and on. We needed to take vaccine jabs before the trip and I was fearful of injection.
Despite stepping out of my comfort zone, I'm really glad I took this step of faith to go on this mission trip. With the same love I received from Jesus, I shared it with the precious children, and reminded them that no matter what forms of challenges they might face in the future, they have nothing to be afraid of, for they are in palm of Daddy God’s hands.
Jesus loves me yes I know, for the bible tells me so.” Whenever I feel fearful, I'll recite this song in my head as a reminder that I’m loved by Jesus.
Having a personal revelation of Daddy God's love has helped me to overcome many obstacles in life. His perfect love casts out all my fears - knowing that He wants nothing but the best for you, He wants to bless you and heal you, and supply all your needs.
This mission trip has opened my eyes and enlarged my heart, and it’s comforting to witness how the beneficiaries' hearts are so open towards Jesus. Some of these precious children come from broken families, or don’t have a fatherly figure in their lives. I believe we are created to love and be loved, and I hope that these precious ones will grow up with their hearts filled with Jesus's overflowing love, so they don't look for love and approval in the wrong places

Precious moment like this!
Proud of my best friend, Lyn teaching the class about how we are uniquely and wonderfully made and each and everyone has a purpose and play a part to paint a beautiful picture.
Teaching the kids, about having a faith of a mustard seed. Even though Mustard seed is the smallest of all seed, but when you grow it in good soil, it would grow into a tree which is the biggest of all plants and it shall bear much fruits
My awesome leader Alex and his lovely wife, Clara! I am thankful for the both of them and the things and effort they put in for the trip and leading us!
Thankful for the Thai food cooked with love for us!

Teaching with the best! Last day with our class!
This trip wouldn't happen without God and everyone availing ourselves as Hands & Feet for Him! I'm so humbled to be part of this Real Love revival with my CG. It has opened my eyes and shifted my perspective in life. I know when I come back I would love to invest more time on things that matter most and close to God's heart. It was such a joy to serve alongside with a family sharing the same faith, and also witnessing how The Lord transformed each and everyone's weakness into their strengths and we build a stronger bond together.
I pray that with the seeds we sowed in the children's lives, it will take root and bear much fruits in their lives, to grow up to be a living testimony to the Lord's word, and for The Lord’s protection to be upon them and their families. Amen ❤️
This is probably the longest post I've ever written. All glory and praise to Jesus!
